15/12/2014 Replacement data cube. Corrections have been made following the quality assessment process, Phase 2 of the Essential Statistical Assets for Australia (ESA) initiative. This process uncovered information about some individual datasets on the 2013 list which consisted of multiple datasets and also a small number of datasets which were removed as they were duplicates or did not exist. There were also a small number of refinements to the names of ESAs, their descriptions, critical frequencies and disaggregations to better reflect the statistic. In addition, the change of federal government in September 2013 brought about the administrative rearrangement of Australian Public Service agencies and departments which resulted in amendments to a number of data custodian names, and in some cases, changes to custodianship of datasets on the 2013 ESA list. No other changes have been made.

23/04/2013 Replacement data cube. Corrections have been made to the ID numbers for three essential statistics and the datasets for two essential statistics presented in Table 1 of the 2013 List of Essential Statistical Assets data cube. The ID numbers were corrected for the following: Agricultural, forestry and fisheries statistics; Balance of payments and international investment position; and Exports and imports of goods and services. The datasets were corrected for the following: Ageing and aged care statistics; and Income, labour and family dynamics. No other changes have been made.
